Make it yours

The recipe is the style, not the picture. Put your own subject in and the highlighted part of the prompt changes.

Prompt

A frame from a hand drawn animated film. A girl in a yellow cardigan stands on a grassy hillside watching clouds move, one hand holding her hair out of her face. The background is painted in gouache with visible brushwork, layered greens and a warm late afternoon sky. The character is drawn with a simple confident line and shaded in two flat tones only, no gradients. Wide cinematic framing, gentle composition, nothing dramatic happening. Slight film grain.

Tips

1Two flat shading tones and no gradients is what separates this from modern digital anime.
2Ask for the background to be painted and the character to be drawn. They are different techniques on screen.
3Say nothing dramatic happening. The stillness is the style.
