Neon Dusk Gradient, A silhouette against a banded sky that has no business being that colour — Rider on the horizon·Nano Banana Pro

Recipe

The style is the recipe. The subject is yours.

The examples above were generated with Nano Banana Pro and Seedream 4.5 and GPT Image 2. The recipes below are written for GPT Image and Flux, so treat the settings as a starting point rather than the exact run.

A description in plain sentences. This is the version to start with, and it works on any current image model. Settings below are the ones we used on GPT Image; treat them as a starting point.

Make it yours

The recipe is the style, not the picture. Put your own subject in and the highlighted part of the prompt changes.

Prompt

A lone rider on horseback silhouetted on a distant ridge at dusk. The sky is graded through impossible colours, magenta into cyan into deep violet, in visible soft bands rather than a smooth blend. Everything in the foreground is a flat black silhouette with no interior detail. Low haze across the horizon, a single small glow behind the ridge, fine grain over the whole frame. Wide cinematic composition, subject small in frame.

The prompt gets you close. Feed one of the examples in as a style reference for the rest. Download the images

Tips

1Banded rather than smooth. The visible steps are the aesthetic, not an artefact.
2Keep the subject small. Atmosphere needs room.
3Flat black silhouettes with no interior detail, or the mood breaks.
