Tips

1One hue doing every value. This is not a green wash over a colour image, it is a single pigment carrying the whole tonal range, so say near white to deep sage explicitly.
2The concentric contour ribbing on the dunes is the signature. Drop it and the hills go flat and the picture becomes ordinary fog.
3Vary --ar across a set. Left at one ratio Midjourney returns six squares and the gallery sits in a single shape.

Overview

A still, monumental scene built from a single pigment. One pale celadon green does every value in the frame, from the near white of the sky down to the deep sage of the foreground, and no second colour appears anywhere. Classical fragments stand in an empty landscape: a draped statue on its plinth, a colonnade, a pediment, sometimes a spire rising straight out of a dune. The hills behind them are carried by fine concentric contour ribbing rather than by shading, a soft even grain sits across the whole surface like a printed plate, and there are no cast shadows at all, so depth comes only from haze. A single tiny figure in a dark coat is usually somewhere in it, small enough that the landscape wins. Now and then something impossible arrives, a ringed planet low on the horizon, and the scene absorbs it without comment.
