Prompt

A Byzantine wall mosaic of a reclining figure writing at a low table, built from thousands of small irregular tesserae with visible grout between them. Tiles laid in curved rows that follow the forms, gold ground catching light unevenly across the surface, decorative border panels of geometric tiles. Frontal solemn expression with large dark eyes, slightly uneven wall surface, no smooth areas anywhere.

Tips

1Tiles laid in curved rows following the form. Straight grids look like pixel art.
2Uneven light across the gold ground is what makes it feel like a wall.
3No smooth areas at all. Everything is tiles.
